Whimple Cricket Club runs 6 colts sides consisting of under 11 hard-ball-pairs and 11 a-sides, under 12s, 13s, 14s, 15s, and 17s.

The colts play in the Bradleys sponsored East Devon youth league and have a particularly strong reputation.

Since 2003 the colts have won the leagur 7 times and have been runners-up 5 times across the age ranges.

The colts have developed a number of players who have represented the East Devon District teams and also achieved County honours.

This year (2008) the colts attended a 10 week indooe training programme which was well attended.

The under 11s, 12s, and 13s were joined for their final session by Devon coach and former Middlesex wicket keeper/batsman, Keith Brown.

Whimple Cricket Club is wholly inclusive and gives opportunities to everyone regardless of gender, ability or previous sporting experience, anyone interested in joining the colt’s teams should contact the relevant team managers:
